Bare Dirt Co. is an Australian-designed glove brand on a mission to build garden gloves that honour durability, comfort and sustainability.

WHY THE FOUNDATION IS DIFFERENT

Over a hundred gardeners have been working with The Foundation since we launched in March. We built V2 from their honest feedback. This is what sets The Foundation apart from other garden gloves.

We deliberately tested The Foundation among trade professionals (horticulturists, gardeners, garden designers... you get the gist). The toughest feedback came from customers using them day in and day out.

We don't just want to make garden gloves that last longer. We want to build something that can be fixed when broken and given a new lease of life when done being a glove. 

Saying this out loud isn't easy because we don't know how we'll pull this off. But it's a journey we're on and we've decided that not having all the answers isn't a reason to stay quiet.

This is the vision that we proudly hold on to and it guides every decision we make, from design to material selection to who we work with.

BUILDING BARE DIRT CO. HAS BEEN A LESSON IN HUMILITY

And a humbling lesson in the power of community, turning an idea into reality.

When I left the corporate world behind in 2025, I was determined to build something different for myself. Stumbling into horticulture studies, I found a problem I couldn't shake. So much so that I started workshopping a solution.

What started as a pet project became Bare Dirt Co. And with it, our first step into building garden gloves that honour durability, comfort and sustainability.

We've come this far because of our community, the gardeners and trade professionals who've supported and cheered us on since day one.
